Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment
- Support individuals with dementia by providing memory care techniques and engaging in stimulating activities
- Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for individuals under your care
- Collaborate with case managers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Skills:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to provide transportation assistance as needed
- Experience in behavior management techniques to effectively address challenging behaviors
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the well-being of individuals
- Knowledge of direct support principles and practices for providing person-centered care
- Familiarity with senior care and dementia care best practices
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them at all times
- Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong organizational skills for managing case documentation and maintaining accurate records
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
